Features of Plot2000 NMS (Network Management System)

Plot2000 NMS (Network Management System) is the network management and deployment module for Plot2000. Plot2000 NMS manages all aspects of Plotting with AutoCAD in a network environment. It makes the CAD Manager and Network Administrators' job easier and saves time by not requiring visits to individual workstations to install the Plot2000 Software or manage system-wide Plot settings.

Plot2000 NMS ensures consistent output by automating all company settings relating to Plotting across all workstations on your corporate network.

Plot2000 NMS is a module that loads on the Network Manager's computer, and has the following features:

  • Push Install to remote computers - allows installation of Plot2000 without visiting each computer
  • Centralized Management of all Plot2000 network settings, including:
    • Plot2000 Installation directory
    • Plot2000 Config file directory
    • Location of Plot billing log directory
    • P2k file location (Plotter sheet size and margin files)
    • Plot2000 macro settings
  • Automatic Configuration of all AutoCAD settings relating to Plotting including:
    • Location of "Plotters" directory (location of .PC3 files on network)
    • Location of "Plot Styles" directory (location of CTB and STB files on network)
    • Location of "Drv" & "PMP" files directory
